Völur announced raising NOK 10 million from StartupLab, Simula and angel investors from Norway.
Völur, an Oslo, Norway-based software startup for the food manufacturing industry, completed a NOK 10 million ($1.2 million) capital funding round.
The money was raised from local investors from Norway, including StartupLab, Simula, Smart Innovation Norway, Middelborg and angel investors. The equity was supplemented by grants porvided by Innovasjon Norge.
Völur, founded in 2019 by CEO Robert Ekrem, develops a software solution aiming to help companies active in the meat production industry. The tool is used for optimizing processes throughout the value chain, providing insights about how your business works, predicts cause-effect outcomes, and makes real-time recommendations driven by the market demand.
