Voss Water sold a part of the company to the American actor Dwayne Johnson.

Voss Water, an Oslo, Norway-based company operating a water consumer brand, announced in a press release that it entered a strategic investment agreement with the American actor Dwayne Johnson.

The deal, which has the financial details undisclosed, involves also Dwayne Johnson's implication, as he will serve as a brand partner and strategic advisor as the brand innovates and continues expansion into new international territories, including China, as well as new product categories, packaging and platforms.

Voss, founded in 1998 and led by CEO Rich Owen, built a premium water brand, which is bottled in the village of Vatnestrøm in Iveland municipality, Aust-Agder county.

Voss Water is owned by the Chinese investment company Reignwood Group, which paid $105M for 51% of the company's shares in 2016.
