We Don’t Have Time, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup operating a social network for climate action, announced completing a SEK 27.8M ($3.3M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from a range of angel investors, local and international, including Fabrice Grinda from France, Jan Ståhlberg, founder of Trill Impact and previously part of the initial team of the global private equity firm EQT, Marco Rodzynek, founder NOAH Advisory and NOAH Conference, Alexander af Jochnick, chairman Oriflame, Pär Nuder, Senior Counselor Albright Stonebridge Group and ex-finance minister of Sweden, Sweta Chakrabory, PhD and founder of Adapt to Thrive and Nick Nuttall, previously Director of communication United Nations Environment Programme.

In conjunction with the capital raise, the company announced closing a partnership with NOAH Advisors. Its founder, Marco Rodzynek, will join We Don’t Have Time’s board of directors.

We Don’t Have Time, founded in 2017 and led by CEO Ingmar Rentzhog, developed and operates a social network called WeDontHaveTime.org (WDHT), aiming to become a network for everyone who wants to be a part of the solution to the climate crisis.

WDHT has about 750k members that have collectively posted nearly 2,500 climate reviews, many of which urge specific organizations or public officials to do more to address the climate crisis. If a review attracts at least 100 “agrees,” then a member of the WDHT team reaches out to the organization or individual in question for public comment.

The company says that in total it raised $8.3 million from its 700 shareholders in this Pre-Series A and earlier Pre-Seed rounds.
