Qiiwi Interactive acquires Milliplay game studio for SEK 5.6M.

Qiiwi Interactive (WeAreQiiwi) an Alingsås, Sweden-based game development company announced it acquired Milliplay, a Cyprus-based game studio.

The price is SEK 5.6M ($630k) and is paid in an all-shares-deal.

Milliplay is a mobile game studio specializing in game match-3, a special kind of puzzle game that has become very popular in recent years with games like Candy Crush Saga, Gummy Drop, Bejeweled Blitz. The existing game portfolio includes the proprietary match-3 titles Magic Gifts released for iOS devices in early 2017, and Magic Potions Castle, which has not yet been launched.
