Wecasa in a €15 million funding round backed by Blisce and existing investors Serena and ISAI.
Wecasa, a Paris, France-based provider of a consumer digital marketplace for wellness services, announced the completion of a €15 million ($17.8M) capital funding round.
The money was raised from backers led by the American investors Blisce, with participation from existing investors Serena and ISAI, as well as the co-founder of BlaBlaCar, Frédéric Mazzella and Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet.
The proceeds will be used to accelerate its international expansion following its London launch in April 2021.
Wecasa, founded in 2016 by CEO Antoine Chatelain, Anne-Emilie Prévot, Fabien Nendaz, Julien Lestavel and Pierre Andre, developed a consumer digital marketplace that was initially specialised in hairdressing, followed by massage and beauty services in 2017 and housekeeping in 2018. The platform recently added babysitting and sports coaching services at home.
Wecase previously raised around $6.6 million.
