Welcome closes more investment from local angel investors.

Welcome, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup working on a mobile application that acts as a community connecting refugees with locals, announced in a press release that it secured SEK 1M ($120k) in outside funding.

The money comes from local angel investors including Nami Zarringhalam, Ludvig Linge and Johan Qviberg and will be used for scaling up the business and reach break-even.

Welcome, founded in 2016 and led by CEO Emma Rosman, is one of the first investments made by Norrsken Foundation, where it is also located. Other investors who backed the company with half a million dollars in 2016 are Filip Engelbert, Jonas Nordlander and Niklas Adalberth.
