Weld raised a seed funding round backed by Frontline Ventures.

Weld, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based SAAS developer of a business intelligence all-in-one data platform, raised €4 million ($4.8M).

The money was raised from investors led by Frontline Ventures and Cherry Ventures, joined by angels Des Traynor (co-founder of Intercom), David Clarke (former CTO at Workday), Phil Chambers (co-founder of Peakon) and Petr Janda (CTO at Pleo).

Weld, founded in 2021 by Jonas Thordal, Jakob Skytte and Jakob Kristensen, developed a data platform built on top of companies’ own data warehouse used by their customers to build powerful data models and metrics. The solution and can integrate with the most popular SaaS tools and databases, including the likes of Hubspot, Salesforce and Redshift.
