Wellster in a $20 million funding extension of Series B round
Wellster Healthtech Group, a Munich, Germany-based provider of telemedical platform solutions in Germany, announced a $20 million extension to a series B equity funding round.
The money was raised from investors including Claret Capital and Mangrove Capital. The initial series B was closed at $40 million in 2021, led by Dermapharm and include Seven Ventures, the ProSiebenSat.1 Group's venture capital investor, HV Capital and the media investor German Media Pool.
Wellster Healthtech Group, founded in 2018 as Direct Health Service by Manuel Nothelfer and Nico Hribernik, combines telemedicine, drug and digital therapies into vertical complete solutions, each tailored to a health topic. In Germany, Wellster operates the 'Spring' brand, along with portals for mental health and medical self-tests, with the portals gospring.de (intimate health) and myspring.com (hair loss).
