Werlabs completed a new capital investment round of $4M.
Werlabs, a Stockholm, Sweden-based medical technology company that provides customers with health analysis via blood testing, secured a SEK 36M ($4M) capital investment round.
Werlabs, founded in 2013 by Rickard Lagerqvist and is led by CEO Henrik Forsberg, has developed a platform that allows customers to order their health checks and blood analyzes online. The company is not profitable and had sales of SEK 35.5M ($40M) in 2017.
To date, Werlabs raised about $12M in risk capital from proeminent Nordic investors, including Sunstone Capital, Speed Ventures and angels Mattias Miksche, Oscar Salén, Filip Engelbert and Jonas Nordlander.
