Whale announced €1 million in funding from Volta Ventures and Peak Capital.

Whale, a Ronse, Belgium-based SAAS developer of a knowledge and training platform, announced securing a €1 million ($1.2M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors including Volta Ventures and Peak Capital.

Whale, founded in 2018 by Bram Billiet and CEO Gary Vanbutsele, developed a software tool that helps teams centralize their processes, procedures, policies, and tribal knowledge in one place, so they can onboard and train employees faster. As a web platform and web plugin, Whale empowers teams with bite-size training content, within the context of their work and delivered just-in-time. The company mainly focuses on service companies with knowledge workers and companies that use frameworks such as EOS® or Scaling up.
