Wide Assessment, a Bergen, Norway-based company managing a marketplace for hiring IT people, raised NOK 2M from undisclosed private investors. The money comes in addition to NOK 2.5M funding previously raised, including a grant from Innovasjon Norge.

The company, founded in January 2016 and managed by daughter and father Stina Andreassen and Arve Andreassen,  developed Wa.works, a portal that acts as a marketplace for IT jobs. The platform works under a freemium model, with both on-demand and subscription revenue streams. Wa.works seems to be a spinoff of Gyrill, also managed by Stina and Arve Andreassen, and also providing recruiting services in the IT industry.

According to the Norwegian records, Wide Assessment is owned by its founders and by the company's CTO, Eivind Hjertnes.
