Wolt raised an undisclosed capital round.

Wolt, a Helsinki, Finland-based company providing food delivery services, raised a new round of financing. The money was secured at the beginning of 2018, according to the official financial statements.

Wolt, founded in 2014 by Elias Pietilä, Oskari Petas, Mika Matikainen, and CEO Miki Kuusi, built a business operated via a mobile application that enables users to make and pay restaurant and cafeteria orders delivered home or available for pickup.

In 2017, Wolt Enterprises increased its consolidated net sales to EUR 9.7 million ($11M). The company raised about $15M in venture capital.
