Woolf in a $2 million round led by Connect Ventures.

Woolf, an Oxford, UK and San Francisco, USA-based startup building an educational platform sold as a service, announced the completion of a $2 million seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors based in London led by Connect Ventures and joined by a range of angels including Matt Clifford, Ian Hogarth, Tony Jamous, Taavet Hinrikus+Sten Tamkivi, and Tiny VC.

Woolf, founded in 2018 by CEO Joshua Broggi, former Oxford professor, is building online infrastructure for the future of higher education. The company developed an online platform that allows brick-and-mortar colleges, academic groups, and corporations to create and exchange accredited courses and degrees. The vision is to facilitate students and academics creating entirely new degree pathways that are automatically accredited as every unit of the platform is checked for compliance, both individually and in combination.
