World's Marathons merges operations with French competitor Ahotu Marathons.

World's Marathon, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing a web-based service to market and sell launch sites in long-distance races, announced merging its operations with the French company Ahotu Marathon.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Ahotu Marathons, founded in 2008 by the French marathon runner Jean-Loup Fenaux, is the world's leading online calendar with information on 60,000 events around the world.

World's Marathon, founded in 2015 by CEO Charlotte Melchert, Joakim Ljungblad and Malin Andersson, targets both runners and organizers interested in learning information about the approximately 10,000 marathon races that are arranged around the world every year.
