xNomad in a SEK 32 million equity funding round led by Luminar Ventures.

xNomad, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup building an online marketplace for short-term rental of retail premises, announced completing a funding round closed at SEK 32 million ($3.5M).

The money was raised locally from Sweden, from investors including Luminar Ventures, Proptech Farm, Wework Alumni Fund and Joachim Hedenius.

The money will primarily be used to expand in the Nordic region, with the goal of reaching 300 premises before the end of 2022.

xNomad, incubated at Antler in 2019 by CEO Jonathan Haralambakis, develops pop stores in collaboration with real estate partners running empty premises that have short leases. The company says it has around 250 partners and has deployed 180 stores since its start, having produced had SEK 10 million ($1M) in gross sales and SEK 3 million in sales in 2021.
