Yago to rebrand and raise €2.2 million from BeAngels, HI Invest, IPM and angel investors.
Yago, a Bruxelles, Belgium-based startup building a digital insurance brokerage, announced that it raised a seed funding round closed at €2.2 million ($2.4 million).
The money was raised from investors including BeAngels, HI Invest, IPM and angel investor Nicolas Debray.
Yago, founded as Seraphin in 2015 by CEO Tanguy Bocquet, Thomas Vanderstraeten and Xavier Lombard, developed a digital platform via which it sells insurance products. The company says it handled business for 8,000 customers and 15,000 insurance contracts.
