Young Platform to raise €3.5 million in a new funding round backed by United Ventures.
Young Platform, a Turin, Italy-based startup operating a cryptocurrency investment platform, announced completing a funding round of €3.5 million ($4.2M).
The money was raised from investors from Italy, led by Milan’s United Ventures and joined by family office Ithaca Investments, Accel scout Luca Ascani, Max Ciociola, and Pietro Invernizzi.
Young Platform, founded in 2018 by Andrea Carollo, Andrea Ferrero, Daniele Rinaldi, Marco Ciarmoli, Samuele Raimondo and Stefan A. Gheban, built and operates three products: Stepdrop - a gamified app that introduces would-be traders to the world of digital currencies; Young Platform - a learning platform for beginners; Young Platform Pro - targeting professional traders and Investors.
Young Platform previously raised almost $1 million in an equity crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs in 2019.
