Zervant, an Espoo, Finland-based company providing online invoicing software for small business owners, announced that it was acquired by the Danish company Ageras.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Zervant, founded in 2010 by CEO Mattias Hansson and Tuukka Koskinen, developed a SAAS platform for online invoicing for small businesses and freelancers. The company employs about 40 people and has more than 700,000 registered users with main markets in France, Germany, England, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. It raised some $16 million (last round in 2018) from investors including Tesi, Northzone, NFT Ventures and Conor Venture Partners.

Ageras, founded in 2011 by CEO Rico Andersen and Martin Hegelund, developed an online platform offering matching services to small and medium-sized enterprises and micro-businesses, connecting them with professional services providers such as accountants and lawyers. The platform has 340,000 users and is active in six countries in Europe and the United States. Its investors include Investcorp, which acquired 60% of its shares in 2017 and Lugard Road, which led a $73.5M capital raise in February 2021.
