Zifra secures SEK 300k, joins Chalmers Ventures incubator.
Zifra, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based hardware security startup, announced getting accepted into the accelerator of Chalmers Ventures. The company also receives a SEK 300k ($37k) investment funding from Chalmers.
Zifra, founded in 2015 by Torbjörn Rasmusson, Robin Johansson and Victor Waldenström (CEO), was started as a master thesis in Chalmers University. The company develpped a hardware security solution by building a memory card that provides on-the-fly encryption. In 2017 Zifra was part of Startup Reykjavik, and received funds totalling SEK 200k.
