Zimpler announced raising capital from Nordstjernan Growth.

Zimpler, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup operating a mobile payment business, announced completing a capital funding round.

The money was raised locally from the investors from Sweden Nordstjernan Growth, and will be used for expanding the company's geographical network, both in Scandinavia and worldwide.

Zimpler, founded in 2012 by David Vrensk and led by CEO Johan Strand, offers instant account-to-account payment solutions used by merchants within various segments like travel, e-commerce or creator economy. It is active in 7 countries: Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, and the Netherlands.

Zimpler previously raised capital from investors including Inbox Capital, Agof and CNI.
