Zoi Meet raised funding from angel investors and Chimera Investment

Zoi Meet, a Rotterdam, Netherlands-based software developer, announced that it secured a seed capital investment round.

The money was led by Abu Dhabi based Chimera Investment and included participation from local angel investors including former Flow Traders co-CEO Sjoerd Rietberg and co-founders of Custom Connect, Jan Willem Meijer and Olav van Doorn.

Proceeds will be used to grow the business and client reach through further advancements of the company's speech technology and AI voice assistant that captures and processes enterprise communication for sales teams. Also, the company will also focus on growing its Deep Learning and Development teams.

Zoi Meet, founded in 2018 by Kevin Oranje and Nick Yap, developed a speech technology, which can outperform the accuracy of other standard speech engines including Amazon and Google. The tech is used to customise and build terminology that is industry-related and organisation-specific, and has as business case transcribing customer interactions within sales processes.
