Zound Industries receives strategic investment from Marshall.

Zound Industries, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company manufacturing audio hardware, secured a strategic capital investment from Marshall Amplification.

The transaction totals a new share issue of SEK 68.3M ($7.53M) worth 5% of the company, and was made as part of a larger deal involving licensing Marshall's brands to Zound Industries.

Zound Industries, led by CEO Pernilla Ekman and co-founded by Konrad Bergström, Niklas Bergh, and Oscar Axhede in 2008, designs, develops, and markets headphones under four brands, intended to serve specific audiences: Urbanears, Coloud, Marshall, and Molami.
