9Solutions secured €3 million in growth funding.

9Solutions, an Oulu, Finland-based care technology company announced the completion of a €3 million ($3.6M) investment round.

The money was provided by inevstors from Finland -  the PK Arvonkasvattajat II fund, managed by Bocap Private Equity - and will be used for expanding the business outside Finland.

9Solutions, founded in 2009 by CEO Sami Herrala, provider of real-time locating based safety, communications and smart care solutions The company's technology is used in over 1 300 healthcare organisations, including university hospitals, care homes and home care. 9Solutions employs around 50 people in Finland and Sweden, and has sales to eight countries in Europe through resellers.
