Accedo, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of OTT video experience solutions, announced that it secured a $17M capital investment round.

The money was provided by existing investor SEB Private Equity and will be used to further drive the growth ambitions over the coming years.

Accedo, founded in 2014 by Michael Lantz (CEO) and Fredrik Andersson, has developed Accedo One, a cloud platform helping operators, broadcasters and brands build, manage and deploy high-quality, engaging video experiences the way they want to. The video solutions enable customers to monetize video and transform video services - Accedo customers include video service providers such as Astro, Deutsche Telekom, Disney, Fox, HBO, NBC Universal, Netflix, and Telefonica.

Prior to this capital round, Accedo raised $10M, in a 2016 deal in which SEB Private Equity injected capital and bought out existing investors Industrifonden and Acacia.
