Accountable in a €5.7 million Series A round led by London-based Stride.VC

Accountable.eu, a Bruxelles, Belgium-based SAAS company of a financial management solution for small companies, announced closing a €5.7 million ($6.7M) Series A round.

The money was raised from investors led by Stride VC, joined by existing shareholders from Connect Ventures.

Accountable.eu, founded in 2017 by CEO Alexis Eggermont, develops accounting software targeting small and medium companies operated by entrepreneurs and business owners. The tool provides real-time tax optimization recommendations as well as banking, accounting and tax advisory services for freelancers and consultants, enabling clients to streamline their accounting procedures. The company says it is used by around 10,000 users in Germany and Belgium.
