Actio announced raising €8.5 million from HV Capital, Cavalry Ventures and angel investors from Germany.

Actio, a Berlin, Germany-based startup selling live coaching sessions via a mobile app, announced that it completed a seed funding round of €8.5 million ($10.4M).

The money was raised from investors led by HV Capital and Cavalry Ventures, with contributions from a range of angels investors including Stefan Jeschonnek and Jan Deepen (Discovery Ventures), Fabian Siegel, Doreen Huber, Atomico Angel Fund, Udo Schloemer, Karl-Moritz Herrmann as well as music producer Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix.

Actio, founded in 2019 by CEO Nikita Fahrenholz and Daniel Stahlkopf, created a live platform for people who want to optimize their lives by accessing group coaching sessions including meditation, pilates, yoga or fitness. Thes sessons are available via a mobile app, with access to 100+ unique live sessions daily.
