The Swedish e-health company Aifloo’s investment round at 12 million SEK quickly became oversubscribed.

Aifloo is in the process of developing the first self-learning e-health system in the world and has since the fall of 2015 raised nearly 25 million SEK in funding.

“It is very exciting that all of our employees decided to invest in this round as well” says Michael Collaros CEO at Aifloo.

Länsförsäkringar Sak, which is Sweden’s largest insurance company within the field of healthcare and safety, is now a shareholder in Aifloo.

Thomas Abrahamsson head of Länsförsäkringar’s health insurance comments on the matter:

“It is a very exciting field Aifloo operates within. We see great opportunities to in the future be able to offer our customers new modern safety solution” says Thomas Abrahamsson, President of Health in Länsförsäkringar

When asked what it is that makes Aifloo already attracting so much attention, CEO Michael Collaros answers:

“We have ourselves been convinced that we have a fantastic idea and at the same time very important. It is of course gratifying that the interest for Aifloo has become so great, however, the timing is simply just right. Timing is constantly a critical factor in technological development, especially with technologies that require a high level of innovation.

Michael Collaros continues “The combination of our newly developed sensor architecture and a unique self-learning algorithm or artificial intelligence allows Aifloo to captivate a leading position in a very attractive field.

For the upcoming global product launching in 2017, Aifloo prepares a major international round of funding. The successful funding round now gives us a good position to develop our product and our company before we are facing the global lunch.”
Almost 20% of the population in the western world are over 65 and the percentage continue to grow.

People’s needs of assistance are increasing, which already is a major challenge for our society.

Aifloo is developing a e-health system based on a unique artificial intelligence (AI), which increases safety by understanding and analyzing behaviors and alerting at danger. This makes it possible for the elderly and the chronically ill can live home longer.
