AI-Stockholm based company Shim raised seed money

Shim is a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup founded by Hoa Ly, who has a PHD in psychology, together with a a group of psychologists, researchers, writers, engineers and designers.

Shim built an AI-based application that acts as a clever and understanding friend. Through talking with Shim, users get a better understanding of themselves and can create stronger relations with loved ones, according to the company website.

Shim was seeded by a number of major investors, among which Atomico profile Sophia Bendz, TAT founder Hampus Jakobsson and Mattias Miksche founder of gaming company Stardoll.
