Air Up secures €18 million from Pepsico and other investors.
Air Up, a Munich, Germany-based soft drink producer, announced that it secured a funding round totalling €18 million ($21.3M).
The money was raised from the American multinational company Pepsico and included contributions from the media company Ippen and the german food investor Five Seasons.
Air Up, founded in 2018 by Fabian Schlang, Tim Jäger, Lena Jüngst, Simon Nüesch and Jannis Koppitz, developed a revolutionary drinking system that flavours your water just by scent, with 0% sugars and 0% additives. The company says that it brings in sales of around 20 million euros per year, and is backed by around 80 employees.
