Airinum raises $1.3M from Muniria and existing investors.

Airinum, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company manufacturing breathing masks for polluted urban areas, secured SEK 12M ($1.3M) in capital investment.

The money was provided by Muniria and existing investors.

Airinum, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Alexander Hjertström, manufactures and sells an air mask designed to keep consumers healthy in any urban surrounding. The mask’s filter is based on a 5-layer technology that can provide protection against airborne particles as small as 0.3μm.

The company, which has sales of SEk 5M ($550k), raised almost $1M in capital investment prior to this round, from investors including J12 Ventures, Daniel Pilotti and Lars Lindgren.
