Akiles closed a round of 232,000 euros via The Crowd Angel

Akiles, a Barcelona, Spain-based startup working on the development of a wearable acting as a smartlock, completed a capital investment round of EUR 232k ($265k).

The money was raised via The Crowd Angel. The funding round is part of a larger round which included financial participation from Guillermo Llibre.

Akiles, founded in 2018 by Nicolás Salame, Borja Rossell and Dario Nieuwenhuis, built a smartlocak device that is aimed to be used in the tourism sector. Akiles has around fifty paid customers and give daily access to more than 850 users.
