Alerion secured €1.2 million from Orza and Easo Ventures.

Alerion, a San Sebastian, Spain-based drone manufacturing company, announced that it secured €1.2 million in capital funding.

The money was provided by investors from Spain, including Orza, an investment entity direct belonging to the ELKARKIDETZA and GEROA pension funds, and by the venture capital entity Easo Ventures. After this investment, the company's co-founders continue to have a large majority of the capital of the company.

The funding will be used to hire more people and boost the international growth of the company.

Alerion, founded in Munich, Germant in 2014 and led by CEO Oier Peñagaricano, develops fully automated drone solutions for challenging environments. The company specialises in the development of high-performance embedded software, computer vision applications, artificial intelligence, and precision navigation relative to complex structures.
