Anyone announced a $3.6M seed round led by Berlin-based Cavalry Ventures

Anyone, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup building a marketplace for "5-minute advice", announced raising $3.6 million in seed funding.

The money was raised from investors led by Berlin-based Cavalry Ventures and joined by Supernode Global, Antler and Atomico Angels Program via Sarah Drinkwater and Sameer Singh, as well as ustwo’s Matt ‘Mills’ Miller.

Anyone, incubated in 2019 at Antler by David Orlic, CEO, and Alfred Malmros, developed a mobile app that connects people with questions and people with answers, around the world. The company says it aims to become an alternative to Google and Wikipedia for more complex questions, and an alternative income for millions of people with unique expertise. It also says it has around 1000 users who have made 9,000 five-minute calls via Anyone’s platform.

Anyone previously raised around $400k.
