Aria in a €12 million debt and equity financing round.
Aria, a Paris, France-based financial service provider that offers an on-demand income for self-employed workers, announced completing a financing round closed at €12 million.
The money includes a €4 million ($4.5M) equity component, raised from Otium Capital and business angels Arthur Waller, Oleg Tscheltzoff and Michael Diguet.
Aria, founded in 2018 by CEO Clément Carrier, is building a B2B financial service providing funds to companies working with freelancers, in order to pay them. The company acts as a marketplace by taking the payment risks, and is optimizing the working capital requirements while limiting the impact of payment deadlines on the freelancers.
