Attensi scores NOM 220 million from Lugard Road Capital, DX Ventures and Viking Ventures.
Attensi, an Oslo, Norway-based company specialised in gamified simulation training, completed a NOK 220M ($25.7M) capital funding round.
The deal is a combination of capital raise and secondary sale, whose split remained undisclosed. The money was raised from international investors, specifically the US-based Lugard Road Capital and the corporate arm of Delivery Hero, DX Ventures, joined by existing shareholder Viking Venture. According to the media, the deal values Attensi at NOK 1bn ($117M) while it expects to get at NOK 100M in annual turnover.
Attensi, founded in 2009 by Odd Skarheim, is a provider of gamified solutions for workforce training, combining advanced 3D modelling with deep insight into human behaviour and psychology, training employees in authentic situations that involve human interaction and operation of business critical software and systems.
Attensi has 100 employees in Oslo, London and Palo Alto, and serves more than 100 customers over a wide range of industries, such as global pharma company Merck, Norwegian food retailer NorgesGruppen, global quality assurance and risk management company DNV-GL, and pharmacy chain Boots.
