Bifröst secured €1M from Axeleo Capital, Evolem, Entrepreneur First, Super Capital VC and angel investors from France.
Bifröst, a Paris, France-based reinsurance brokerage startup, announced securing a €1M ($1.1M) seed capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors from France, namely Axeleo Capital, Evolem, Entrepreneur First, Super Capital VC and angel investor Gwenaël Moy, ex AXA and now advisor at BlaBlaCar.
Bifröst, founded in 2021 by Victor Moreau and Tristan Garrec, is developing a reinsurance brokerage that supports cedents, brokers and reinsurers with a software tool that automates every step of the risk transaction process. The company says it is using its tool for building a digital marketplace as it delivers optimal pricing and risk syndication for every transaction, 10x quicker, and at a fraction of the cost. Bifröst also says that it is currently running pilot projectss with some of the largest French domestic insurers.
