bina school, a Berlin, Germany-based startup operating an education platform for primary classes, announced the completion of a $1.4 million funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Japan-based Mistletoe (owned by Japanese billionaire Taizo Son), and joined by angel investors Jutta Steiner (Parity Technologies founder) and Lord Jim Knight (UK MP).

bina school was founded in 2019 by CEO Noam Gerstein with the aim to deliver personalised primary education (age 4-12) at scale.
