Blocket acquired the Danish company Jobbsafari, strengthens its position in the job market

Blocket, a Stockhom, Sweden-based firm operating a digital platform for classified ads, announced that it acquired the Swedish business operations of Jobbsafari.se from the Danish company Jobindex.

The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Jobbsafari.se is one of Sweden's largest job sites with about 30,000 job ads daily and 200,000 unique visitors per week. Jobbsafari will be run as a separate brand and will be added to Blocket Jobs and StepStone in Blocket's job commercial offering, thus strengthening its position in the job advertising market.

Blocket is led by CEO Pernilla Nissler and owned by Norwegian media group Schibsted.
