Bob.io secured €3 million from K Fund, Big Sur Ventures and other investors from Spain
Bob.io, a Madrid, Spain-based on-demand service provider for travellers, announced that it secured a EUR 3 million ($3.3M) capital investment round.
The funding was supported by a range of early stage investors from Spain, institutional and angels, including K Fund, Big Sur Ventures, business angels Andreas Mihalovits and Carlos Domingo, as well as GAA Investments and TA Ventures.
Bob.io, founded in 2017 and led by CEO Felix Campano, built an on demand service for travellers interested to have their luggage picked up in advance at any point in a city and have it checked with airlines. The service, which stands for "bag on board", is available in Madrid and Barcelona, and the company is having commercial agreements with several European airlines, including Iberia, Lufthansa, KLM, and AirFrance as well as with travel agencies, hotels, and rental hosts to access a broader customer base.
Prior to this round, Bob.io raised about $1.5 million from Spanish investors.
