Bookis announced raising $1.1M from Schibsted.

Bookis, an Oslo, Norway-based marketplace for books, announced raising NOK 12M ($1.1M) in capital investment.

The funding was provided by the local media company, Schibsted, through its investment arm, Schibsted Growth.

Bookis, founded in 2016 by Lasse Brurok and Arne-Morten Willumsen (CEO), developed a digital platform for buying and selling new and used books and has around 70.000 registered users.
