BotGuard secured €500k in seed funding from Tera Ventures

BotGuard, a Talinn, Estonia-based SAAS developer of cybersecurity tools, announced that it completed a €500k ($587k) funding round.

The money was raised from local investor from Estonia Tera Ventures.

BotGuard, founded in 2019 by Nik Rozenberg and Denis Prochko, developed a digital fingerprinting technology that selectively blocks bad bot requests in real time. The system adapts on-the-fly to the traffic patterns of a particular website, filtering out only the traffic that poses a threat. The company has over 1,000 direct paying customers, plus another 4,000 customers through hosting company partnerships.
