BR-DGE raised £2.5 million from Gloag Investment Group

Bridge (BR-DGE), an Edinburgh, UK-based developer of payment software solutions, announced completing a £2.5 million ($3.3M) capital funding raise.

The money was provided by Gloag Investment Group and will be used to further improve the company's platrofm and grow business across the UK. Bridge's chairman is David Reeves, a former member of Sony Japan’s Board who led Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.

BR-DGE, founded in 2018 and led by CEO Brian Coburn (former IT boss of Stagecoach Group), has developed a SAAS payment orchestration service for eCommerce enterprises that want to exploit the potential of existing and new digital payment services and put payment under merchant control. The software acts as a central point for other business applications such as financial reconciliations, enterprise fraud management, foreign exchange to automate business processes for enhanced operational efficiency.
