Brocc added SEK 11M in media equity from Aggregate Media.
Brocc, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup offering peer to peer lending services via an online platform, announced securing SEK 11M ($1.3M) in an investment round. The investment represents media space provided via Aggregate Media for helping the company become more visible in the market.
Brocc, founded in 2015 as Sparlån and led by CEO Jonathan Klein, developed a marketplace for peer-to-peer lending, allowing individuals to lend money to other individuals.
The company aims to compete with more established local companies such as Lendify and Savelend. Brocc is funded by local angel investors including Erik Fischbeck, Christian Olofsson, Martin and Louise Wennberg, which pumped SEK 20M ($2.4M) in the company at the end of 2017.
