Build38 to raise €3 million from G+D Ventures, Caixa Capital and eCapital.

Build38, a Munich, Germany-based SAAS developer of mobile security solutions, announced raising €3 million ($3.6M) in a capital investment round.

The money was raised from new and existing investors, including G+D Ventures, which originally joined as a seed investor, Caixa Capital Risc and eCAPITAL ENTREPRENEURIAL PARTNERS.

Proceeds will be used for expansion into further markets and further development of the company's multi-layer security framework.

Build38, was founded in 2018 as a spinoff from Giesecke + Devrient by Pedro Hernandez, Christian Schlaeger (CEO), Joaquín Miguel Fernández Barreiro, Marc Obrador Sureda, Tillmann Gmelin and Torsten Leibner, and develops mobile application protection solutions: in-app shielding, in-app monitoring and AI based in-app reaction.

The solution represents a new generation of app-hardening technologies and is in use by customers from diverse verticals including automotive, financial,public transport and health care.

Build38 is headquartered in Munich with global offices in Barcelona and Singapore.
