Call Knut raised SEK 2 million via SmiLe Inject Capital.
Call Knut, a Helsingborg, Sweden-based software startup developing a mobile app for healthcare, raised SEK 2 million ($200k) in an equity round.
The money was raised from the local startup accelerator from Sweden Smile Inject Capital.
Call Knut, founded in 2020 by CEO Viktor Björk, developed a communication application designed to check in the elderly. The tool acts as a voice robot designed to make phone calls and start automated conversations with older people and with the help of AI algorithms analyze their condition. In the first stage, the product is aimed at relatives who want to keep a better eye on their elderly. In the long run, the plan is to also turn to care and nursing providers.
