Candidator DGC has acquired the IT operations company Solid Park.

Candidator DGC, a Stockholm, Sweden-based  IT services provider, acquired the IT company Solid Park, based in Stockholm, Sweden.

The deal, which has the financial specifics undisclosed, includes Solid Park's subsidiary Exeo (acquired in 2018) and was made with existing owner Bas Invest. Current management at Solid Park continues to focus on key positions within the Candidator DGC Group.

The acquisition gives Candidator DGC expanded geographical presence in Mälardalen and Östergötland, broadened customer base and increased business volume. In total, the Group will employ approximately 850 employees.

Solid Park, founded in 2005 and led by CEO Johan Åkerlund, delivers IT operations primarily to small and medium-sized companies in the private and public sectors, as well as offering advanced consulting services within system development, system management and IT infrastructure.

The company has about 200 employees, with a turnover of approximately SEK 320M per year with operations in Västerås, Stockholm, Norrköping, Linköping, Katrineholm and with the purchase of Exeo in Motala.

Candidator DGC is a company providing IT operations with capabilities for full IT outsourcing, providing its clients with mainly contractually recurring services, including cloud, hosting and application management.

The company has a turnover of approximately SEK 1 billion and was formed in 2018 when the EQT-owned companies Candidator and DGC were brought together in a group under EQT's management.
