Capdesk announced securing £3 million in a Series A round led by Fuel Ventures
Capdesk, a London, UK and Copenhagen, Denmark-based company developing a SAAS for equity management, announced getting into a £3 million ($3.7M) Series A investment deal.
The round was led by existing investor Fuel Ventures.
Capdesk, founded in 2016 in Copenhagen by Christian Gabriel, Mikkel Boje and Martin Damhus, built and operates a platform helping companies manage their captable as well as create and manage option plans, adhere to compliance regulations, file forms and invite employees to understand and track their ownership.
The company claims to have worked with about 1000 European customers including Secret Escapes, Curve, Nutmeg, Privitar and Gousto. With this funding, Capdesk announced to have additionally launched their very own secondaries feature in partnership with Seedrs and Shieldpay as it aims to become a secondary private equity market for all classes of shareholders. The secondaries feature will roll out in beta to current users only. Other plans include expanding the business throughout Europe, with Sweden, France, and the Netherlands already in the pipeline.
Prior to this round, Capdesk raised a bit more than $3 million, with the last round of $2 million in 2019.
