Capdesk closes a DKK 8.4M investment round, aims to become Nasdaq for unlisted shares.
Capdesk, a Copenhagen, Denmark-founded and London, UK-based startup providing a software as a service solution for equity management, closed a DKK 8.4M ($1.3M) investment round. The money comes from undisclosed investors and will be used to grow the business.
Capdesk was founded in 2016 by CEO Christian Gabriel and developed a software as a service platform to help all private companies organize and trade shares. Prior to this transaction, the company raised money from Innovationsfonden and angel investors Ivan Sandqvist and Nicolaj Højer Nielsen, and moved their office in London.
