Capsule announced raising $1.5 million in a round led by Beacon Capital

Capsule, a Paris, France-based startup building a simple decentralized social media platform, announced in the media raising $1.5 million.

The money was raised from investors led by Polychain Capital via its crypto fund Beacon Fund. Proceeds will be used to ship a product and make it available to the market.

Capsule was founded at the end of 2020 by Nadim Kobeissi, a cryptography researcher who previously authored the open-source E2E-encrypted desktop chat app Cryptocat
