Captario has received SEK 50M in an investment round led by Spiltan

Captario, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based SAAS pharma company developing a software tool that allows users to model drug project activities, announced adding SEK 50M ($5.7) in capital investement. The money comes from new and existing investors, including Investment AB Spiltan and Almi Invest.

Captario, founded in 2012 and led by CEO Johannes Vänngård, develops SUM – Strategic Uncertainty Management. SUM is a software tool that allows users to model drug project activities to build insight about project risk, cost, timing and value.

SUM provides guidance in strategic drug project portfolio investment decisions, which is central to the R&D function in customer companies. Captario work with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, and have offices in Sweden and Switzerland.
